Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you obtain your carving materials?
All Brazilian soapstone and Italian alabaster products are purchased through Giancarlo Stoneworks in British Columbia. They obtain their products from the highest quality and most beautifully colored stone quarries in South America and Europe.
All walrus jawbones are legally obtained from St. Lawrence Island, Alaska, in compliance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972. The materials Aaron carves are hundreds to thousands of years old and have gone through a natural fossilization process which cannot be replicated. The safety and well-being of all marine mammals is of extreme importance to us, and we would never do anything to compromise the health and vitality of these beautiful creatures.
All horns and antlers have been legally harvested by private individuals, in accordance with all local rules and regulations.
