This piece features a walrus carved into the fossilized lower jawbone of an actual walrus that lived thousands of years ago in the Bering Sea. The top is smoothed down and cribbage board holes are drilled precisely. The two tusks were carved separately from fossilized walrus jawbone and glued securely in place. The tooth holes are still visible in this ancient jawbone.
Due to the unique nature of this material, the actual size and coloring of each cribbage board will vary slightly.
